Everfic is an independent fanfiction archive. Public stories are free to read without an account. Authors retain ownership of their original contributions.

Find and read a story

Search by title, author, fandom, relationship, character, or tag. More filters let you exclude subjects, select primary pairings, combine fandoms, and set dates or word counts. Searches have shareable addresses.

On a chapter page, open Reading preferences to change the font, text size, spacing, width, and theme. This browser remembers your preferences and reading position when device storage is available.

Your private library

An optional account adds synced progress, private bookmarks, custom reading lists, saved searches, and a searchable history. Library settings let you disable history, choose its retention period, mute tags or authors, and manage blocked accounts.

Publish your own work

Prepare text before signing in, then review your metadata and formatting before publishing. Signed-in authors can save drafts, manage chapters, schedule publication, and import authorized text, Markdown, or HTML files. Imports always require review.

Subscribe quietly

Visit an author’s profile to see their public works and subscribe to new chapter notifications. Your subscriptions stay private. There are no public follower rankings or leaderboards.

Safety and support

Read ratings and warnings before choosing a story. Use the report link on a work for content concerns, or contact the archive privately for accessibility, copyright, and support requests.

Development release: Mature and Explicit works remain private while age protections and legal policies undergo review. The archive is not ready for public registration.
